Project Description:

St. Anthony’s provided hospitality for three families totaling fourteen guests all of which are homeless. One family was from Ghana, another from Angola and also a family from a local community. We provided a warm and safe haven, home cooked meals and interactive activities. Each family is set up in their own room, portable cots are set up for their comfort and privacy. There is also a common area for children to play games, work on homework and/or watch TV all while being supervised. Their stay was extended due to extreme weather conditions therefore the host couple on duty had to spend a full 24 hour period at the church.
