Project Description:

Two Council Brothers and their wives joined other parishoners in participating in this years “Festival of Lessons and Carols” at Sacred Heart Church in Yarmouth this year. After a busy month of rehersal it was time for the service. The Festival of Lessons and Carols was a service of scripture and song that dates back to the late 19th Century. During the service we listened to Scripture Lessons which recounted the promise of the Messiah .For us this was a very Blessed and moving service. Following the Lesson’s and Carols Service there was a cookie swap in the Church Hall. All the baked goods were provided by the parishoners. Plenty of fellowship was had by all following the service.
