First Annual Fraternity Novena For Life Prayer Time.

Project Description:

A Council Brother and 10 Sowers of the Word Fraternity Members and three of the wives participated in the 22 October 2021 Novena for Life Prayer, Via Zoom. As part of our Monthly Business Meeting, we have a Prayer or Reading which is done by one of the members present. The suggestion was made that at the September Business Meeting by our Treasurer, that we dedicate October’s Prayer Session on behalf of the “Novena for the Cause of Life.” All present at the September Meeting agreed. Our Minister of the group asked for volunteers to recite the opening prayer, closing prayer, and this year the Glorious Mysteries were recited. Each one was read by a different member. What a Blessed way to begin our Business Meeting evening, with our Blessed Mother, one another, our Faith, and the mother’s and un-born children in our world today. We are in hopes that the Prayer evening will be our first of many to come, within our Fraternity. For my wife and I, it is such a Blessing to be a Family of both the Knights of Columbus in Falmouth, and Brothers and Sisters of the Sowers of the Word Fraternity in Windham.
