Project Description:

Eight council brothers supported and participated in our First Annual Progressive Card Game Evening for the Parish. The location for this event was at Holy Martyr’s Church following the 4 PM Mass on Saturday January 12, 2019. This years event ran from 5 PM to 8:30 PM. Some 25 parishioners and brother knights enjoyed a nice evening of fun and fellowship. As part of the evening refreshments were served. It was mentioned by some in attendance as to when we might be having our next event. At a recent Council Officers Meeting several new idea’s were brought to the table on how our council could get more involved with the parishioners of our Parish, and also raise funds for our council treasury. This event was not a large money making event, but the money will help us in putting on our next event. We must as a council stride to come up with more events that will help us to become more visible as a council, and families of this Parish. At our next Council Officers Meeting we will be looking to plan our next “Parish Progressive Card Game Evening”. Without our Priests, Council Members , their Families, and the Parish Office Staff support, none of this would have been made possible.
