Project Description:

St. Joseph Church in Bridgton was filled to capacity at Sunday morning Mass to welcome Bishop Robert Deeley of the Portland Maine Diocese as he Confirmed 10 children and 3 adults in the Rite of Christian Initiation as new Catholics. Our Council Knights served as Honor Guards, Acolyte, Lector and Host for the reception after Mass. Our Council provided the initiates with memorable gifts celebrating this Holy Day in their lives. Our Pastor and Associate assisted the Bishop in the impressive ceremony accepting our new Parishioners. The Ladies Guild of the Parish did a marvelous job putting together another reception where many Parishioners took advantage of the Bishop’s visit by being photographed with him.
