Food Distribution

Project Description:

Catholic Charities of Maine delivered a trailer filled with pallets of food for distribution. 10 pallets were earmarked for Millinocket. Help was needed to empty the pallets of the prepackaged boxes of food for distribution. Signs were placed announcing the distribution and cars began lining up well before the scheduled 10:00 start time. Volunteers including members of Council 680 unloaded the boxes while other volunteers loaded the cars as they pulled up for their allotment of food. The entire 10 pallets of food was efficiently distributed in a little over 2 hours. This was done to assist another organization in the distribution of food to those most affected by this pandemic.
