Project Description:

The K of C Councils in St. John Paul II Parish set up food collection points in the Narthex of each church. This annual event, which we promote as 40 Cans For Lent, had a goal this year of collecting 5000 pounds of food. Donated foods were collected each week throughout Lent, and transported to the South Portland Food Pantry. The final total was 6208 pound of food donated.
