Project Description:

Throughout the year 13 hard working members of our council spend countless hours travelling back and forth to Hannafords or other distribution centers to collect food for the hundreds of families that frequent our food pantry at St. Mary’s church. As a way of supporting our food pantry, our council once again supported the “Food For Families Program by again donating $1000.00 towards the needs of the pantry. It is unfortunate to see so many families who are struggling to make ends meet and depend so much for food pantries throughout the state to provide the necessary nourishment for their children.
We are very fortunate to have so many council members working at the pantry making sure families are well cared for with hope and loving arms.
