Project Description:
On 2/28/19 our council held a free throw championship at the Old Town Hall (26 N High Street, Bridgton). We had 8 children from ages 9-14 participate.
All the children received participation certificates and 5 received medals.
Because no other championships were held in our district this will qualify for the state finals.
In addition we spoke with the community recreation director about possible future programs at the old town hall involving area youth and our council. The recreation director has been invited to speak prior to our next monthly business meeting.
In these troubled times it is refreshing to see children, parents and adults enjoy some good basic fun together.
