Funding for Seminarians

Project Description:

On February 15, 2018, after sending a check to one of the seminarians the Council sponsored, the Council members again started raising funds towards our goal of sending a total of $3000.00 to the seminarians prior to the end of the Fraternal year. As of February 15, 2018, we had only sent $2000.00. During the time in question, February 15, 2018 – April 9, 2018, Council 2219 held five 50/50 raffles, held social suppers and other events and raised over $500.00. On April 9, 2018 another check for $500.00 was issued and mailed to Alex Boucher, who is attending St. Johns Seminary in Brighton, MA. So far this Fraternal Year we have sent a total of $2500.00 to the seminarians.
