Funeral Lunch

Project Description:

Westbrook Council was asked by the family of our departed Brother Knight to help with the funeral lunch which we agreed to do. We were there to receive the food, set up the room, have coffee and drinks prepared and ready for the family and their guests when they arrive from the cemetery. Following the lunch, we made certain the families needs were tended to, we helped them collect all flowers, plants, cards and loaded them into their vehicles. The left over food was packaged for them to take home and the room cleaned and put back together making it easy on the family which they appreciated. The family knowing how their loved one cherished the Knights of Columbus requested in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Westbrook Knights Council #2219.
