The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass is the greatest gift we can offer upon the passing of a fellow believer. When Medley Murphy departed this earthly realm, he left a legacy of service and devotion. he was, for many years, a stalwart supporter of St. Andrew Church, until such time as it was closed, then eventually sold. He continued his service and dedication to St. Augustine Church, until failing health caused him to curtail his efforts. When his Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated, even though he was not a Knight, many of his immediate family members are. Brother Knights from many Councils served at his Mass in various capacities – Altar Server, Sacristan, Eucharistic ministers, and Lectors.
