Project Description:

Westbrook Council has connected with Opportunity Alliance in the Westbrook neighborhood and has been working together to aid the neighborhood hum with items they may be in need of. Early March the director reached out asking for furniture for an immigrant family new to the country. The family had an apartment in Westbrook with three children and not one item of furniture or household belongings. We put the word out to the council and was able to round up two bedroom sets and household items. Three Brother Knights collected the furniture and delivered it to the family…It’s not enough but is a start.
