Project Description:

During our October dinner meeting we had invited Westbrook Police Chief Roberts to join us to speak about the Westbrook police department and we asked specifically what we could do as Knights to help. During her talk she mentioned an upcoming fund raiser sponsored by the department and the name of the program was “Give A Cop A Bird” which was designed to help pass out Thanksgiving dinners to Westbrook families in need. Westbrook Council #2219 agreed to donate $200.00 helping their fund raising efforts.
