Haddock Dinner

Project Description:

Fourteen Brother Knights and 13 volunteers put on a Baked Haddock “take out” dinner. We served 270 dinners over the course of two evenings.
The dinners were held at St. Ignatius Gym/cafeteria. The total hours include the efforts we employed selling tickets and shopping for all the elements needed for a “take out” style dinner. The dinners were held on Friday March 5th and Friday March 26th. We staged volunteers around the gym directing traffic. The local Boy Scouts volunteered to be runners for the event. The event was a fundraiser for our council general fund as COVID has impacted our fundraising efforts. The monies raised will be used to support our councils programs and services.
