Helping with Ray of lightproject

Project Description:

On December 1st, a veterans organization called Ray of Light, held a fundraiser at the St. Ignatius gym to raise money to fight the serious problem that veterans have with post traumatic stress, specifically the stress that leads to suicide. The Ray of Light was started by a son, whose father was a member of our council. His father for many years suffered from pts, finally committing suicide a few years ago. He organized a day that different vendor could rent space and sell their wares. They also had a concession stand were food was sold. Two brother Knights from our council volunteered to cook hamburgers, hot dogs, and sausage for this event. The event was a success, and next year we will get more brother Knights to participate in this fundraiser.
