Knight of the Month
January
Our Knight of the Month served our council as Grand Knight for three years. He serves us as our Worthy Recorder, Worthy Program Director, and Worthy Community Program director. He gathers everyone’s surge hours either at our council meetings or through e mails, keeping a spread sheet on all the various categories of service. Annually, he summarizes these surge hours and submits the Annual Survey of Fraternal Activity.
John also serves on the Knight of the Month and the Family of the Month nominating committees. He is a participant on the Sanitizing team and serves as Lector, Eucharistic Minister, and Altar Server. Prior to COVID-19 he also organized the coffee social after 9:00 am Sunday mass.
John prints the certificates for Knight and Family of the Month and submits articles to both the parish bulletin as well as the newspaper.
Just this past month John planned, organized, and staged the Keep Christ in Christmas Poster Contest and the Catholic Citizenship Essay Contest with St. Thomas School.
