Council: Choose Council

Project Description:

As in most councils, it is a monthly tradition in the St. Thomas Council to recognize a brother Knight who goes beyond the call of duty and serves as an inspiration to his brother Knights. We recognize this brother Knight as Knight of the Month by awarding him a certificate; and submitting an article about him to the local newspaper.

The July 2018 Knight of the Month was Terry Sylvanus. This brother knight joined our council earlier this year. He promptly took his second and third degree and also took his fourth degree to become a Sir Knight. He is always available to help out in the kitchen at any of our dinners. He has also helped out at Sanford Mainers games, as well as sell raffle tickets at Shaws Supermarket. Whenever we need a volunteer, he is always there! He currently serves as Deputy Grand Knight for the council and as District Warden under Ray Sargent.
