July 4th Parade, Bridgton, ME

07/11/2018

Council: 11376 - BRIDGTON-FRYEBURG

Project Description:

10 members of our council walked in Bridgton’s July 4th celebration parade. We had 4 Knights of the honor guard, 2 carrying our banner, and 4 handing out tootsie rolls to the children along the route. We lined up at Hancock Lumber (route 302) at 11 and the parade started at 12. We as a council participate in this parade every year. Although the heat was extreme the crowd was quite large. As I saw people clapping and saluting the flag it made me feel proud to both be an American and a Knight. I feel our participation is good exposure for our council in our community.
