Keep Christ in Christmas -Lighting the Manger

Project Description:

On December 6th, 2019, St. Martin of Tours Council #680 held our annual Lighting of the Manger ceremony. The
evening began with light snacks and socializing. The ceremony followed, conducted by Brother Francis Megno.
Christmas hymns, a gospel reading, and the construction of the manger cumulating in the lighting of the manger for
display on the porch of the Association Hall. This ceremony is conducted to remind everyone of the reason for the
season and to promote the “Keep the Christ in Christmas” initiative.
