Keeping Christ in Christmas

Project Description:

Our Council obtained a 3’X8′ banner a few tears ago proclaiming “Keep Christ in Christmas”. This banner is prominently display in front of St. Joseph Church during the Holydays. It is also posted at our many Council events. One recent event was an annual Christmas Parade in Harrison, ME where four Council members marched carrying the banner. It is always gratifying to hear onlookers applaud and gives a ‘thumbs up’ when the banner goes by. Our Council also sells Christmas wreaths at various locations in Bridgton (to be reported on another Surge Report) and the banner is displayed. Positive comments and appreciation are received from passersby who support the importance of keeping the true meaning of Christmas
