Project Description:
The Windham Food Pantry holds a Senior Day each Monday of each month and Senior Citizens who need assistance are provided with a volunteer to help them by making them feel welcome, helping them with their food selection and carrying the many bags of items for them and taking the items to their car for them and thanking them for visiting the food pantry. One Westbrook Council Knight and his wife were dedicated volunteers for this effort throughout 2018 and they were recognized for their efforts in a letter from the Executive Director of the Windham Food Pantry highlighting their exemplary volunteer work. The letter is attached.
