Knights Christmas Fair Breakfast

Project Description:

Each year as a part of the St. Anthony’s Christmas Fair Weekend, the Knights prepare a fundraising breakfast consisting of scrambled eggs, sausage, ham, plain and blueberry pancakes, french toast, home fires, baked beans, corn beef hash, juices, coffee and tea. The breakfast is available for parishioners as well as community members who attend the fair. Several Knights participate in preparing, cooking, serving and clean up related to this breakfast. This year’s breakfast had an unexpected challenge when the power to the building went out just as the Sunday Mass had ended and parishioners were finding their way to the parish hall for the breakfast. Many still attended even though some of the food was not as hot as we would have liked due, attendees were dedicated to making the event a success.
