Project Description:

Council 320 established a scholarship fund in memory of Rev. Maurice Plourde a past pastor of St. Rose of Lima parish many years ago. Two scholarships were awarded every year by lottery to the sons or daughters of members of the council. Since the membership in the council are getting older and we have fewer and fewer applicants to the scholarship we decided to open the scholarships up to the parish. Every year going forward at least two $1,000 scholarships will be awarded to children of members of our council or children of parishioners of St. Rose. The fund is perpetual and has a balance which cannot be utilized.
