Lobster Roll Dinner during Lent
Lobster Roll Dinner during Lent
Council: 11257 - PORTLAND
Project Description:
The Knights of Columbus Council 11257 hosted a Lobster roll Dinner for Parishioners and families of Our Lady of Hope Parish at the St. Pius hall. We do the event to get parish families together during the Lenten season. We had 79 parishioners attend and many of those were families. 11 Brother Knights helped at the dinner. We served from 5:00pm until 6:30pm. Dinner included a lobster roll, chips, cole slaw, desserts and a drink. The cost was $10 per person and a value meal with 2 lobster rolls was $16. It was a great way for parishioners to meet together in community during lent while enjoying a night out with cooking. Following the dinner a number of parishioners attended the Stations of the Cross held at St. Pius church. The knights had an opportunity to discuss membership to those who showed interest in our order.
