Project Description:

The Maine Children’s Cancer Program is a program that supports children diagnosed with Cancer. Money raised for this program goes towards the support of young cancer patients receiving treatment in places like Maine Medical Center. On Friday September 10th an auction and chili and chowder contest was organized to help raise funds for the program. Brother Knights Matt Chase, Dan Boulet, Mark Caron, and Dan Bergeron volunteered at the event helping to set up, and organize raffle items for the auction. On the next day there was a golf tournament at the Sanford Country Club where Brother Knights Paul Michaud, George Bannister George Milney, Marcel Payeur and Daniel Payeur helped raise funds for the event. The two day event raised over $25,000 for this important organization.
