Project Description:

Knights from our council assisted with taking our Catholic veterans to Mass. There were three veterans who needed our assistance to get to Mass, one veteran who was 99 years old and who was more than willing to talk about his life experiences. Joe was another veteran who we brought to Mass.

Father had quite the homily for Mass and presented it in a very eloquent manner. The
Knights always enjoy this experience and it is hoped our veterans dud as well. They were acknowledged by Father at the beginning and end of Mass. After returning the veterans to their appropriate rooms, we returned to the reception area to engage in fellowship before we left. Father is looking to grow this community at the chapel and seems to be moving in the right direction.
