Project Description:

One of our members again along with his wife headed up to the University of Maine once again to help with timing of the running events for our Special Olympians who came from around the State of Maine. They joined the dozens of other Knights and their families for two days of fun and feeling the thrill exhibited by all the Olympians as they completed their assigned event. Whether they came in first or last their smiles and cheers of success was justification that they completed their task which we take so much for granted. All our members clearly stated that anyone who goes once to this event will be hooked for a lifetime. All the Knights look forward each year to participate and sharing the day with all the fantastic special Olympians who do not hesitate to give you a high five or a cheerful hug after crossing the finish line.
