Project Description:

Ten council brothers, wives and parishioners participated in the Marian Prayer Hour in the Chapel at Holy Martyr’s Church on Thursday May 9, 2019. As a newly formed council we have sponsored as a council three Holy Icon’s. This evenings service was lead by Fr. Paul Marquis, and Deacon Dennis Popadak. Within the last couple weeks our District Deputy informed us of the Marian ICON visit to our District. With scheduling the way it was we decided to host the ICON first. On Thursday May 9, 2019 we Knights of Columbus Council 15791 sponsored a “Marian Prayer Hour” at Holy Martyr’s Chapel. As Council Faith In Action Director I would like to thank those Knights of Columbus, their wives and Parishioners for participating. A special thank you to Fr. Paul Marquis and Deacon Dennis for leading us in this Marian Prayer hour, and the support from our Parish Staff. We are in hopes to be able to have a greater number of participants for the next ICON visit.
