Memorial Service for Earlene E. Drapeau

Memorial Service for Earlene E. Drapeau

07/06/2022

Council: 1423 - No. WHITEFIELD

Project Description:

The Order of the Knights of Columbus was founded as a Catholic, FAMILY, Fraternal Service Organization. We have been trained, through the exemplification of our Degrees, to remember, and care for, our FAMILIES, especially for those who are left behind when the male head of the household passes. It would follow, naturally, that we should also gather to honor the passing of a spouse of a Brother Knight.
Brother Sir Knight David Drapeau was married to Earlene (Hall) Drapeau for 55 years. At her passing, his Brother Knights, and Brother Sir Knights, from Council 334, 1423, and Assembly 0346, gathered, along with her many family members, friends, and neighbors, to honor her life and memories. Words of Remembrance were offered by her daughters at the Committal Shelter, at the Maine Veteran’s Cemetery, Augusta, Maine.
Following a private inurnment service at the niche in the Columbarium, the family joined the rest of the mourners at a reception at the Augusta Elk’s Lodge.
