Project Description:

12 members of our council prayed The Novena for Repentance, Renewal and Rebuilding. Our 12 members joined this 9 day Novena for Life being prayed by Knights of Columbus all over the world as the bishops meet to discuss the sexual abuse crisis.

The abuse and cover up seems to be in the media nightly and prayers are needed now more than ever. As a victim I know nothing can ever undo the harm and trauma done but to move on one must forgive your perpetrator, your church and even God himself. Reconciliation is one of the cornerstones our of faith and without it recovery is not possible.

Let us all pray that our church can move forward with proper and thorough policies that protect the innocent.
