Project Description:

11 People from our parish, including 6 Knights, traveled to Togus hospital to assist/accompany veterans in celebrating Mass. We met the veteran’s at their rooms, wheeled them to Mass, celebrated Mass with them and brought them back to their rooms. This allowed the men to attend Mass during Advent and gave them an opportunity for socialization during the Christmas season. Additionally, it was an example to the children who accompanied us of our veteran’s desire to attend Mass, despite how hard it is for them to be mobile.
