Project Description:

Six Council Brothers, one wife, and two children were joined by brothers from area councils to celebrated the Palm Sunday Mass at the Veterans Hospital in Augusta on March 25, 2018. What a marvelous opportunity and honor it was to attend mass with our disabled vets and their family members, while saying thank you to them for giving of them selves for their country. God bless them all. Patriotism, Fraternity, Unity was at work here with this Knights of Columbus Activity. We thank you Lord for watching over us and our family members as we performed this special activity. What a very special effort from one Brother to another. This is the sixth time since our council’s formation that we have provided this service to our Brothers in Christ, at the Togus Facility. The presiding Priest at Togus was very pleased to have us present and to continue our support for the Veterans at Togus. This was once again a very blessed morning for myself and all my brothers of this council who took time from their families to be with us today.
