Project Description:
Twenty knights, their family members and a number of parishioners worked together in putting on the 10th Annual Family Picnic Celebration, at Saint Gregory’s Church parking lot and campgrounds on August 28. Joining us this day were many Families, and children joining in fun, games, great food. This was the first year after the pandemic that we were able to meet again. Entertainment this day consisted of, music, corn hole games, and swimming for those who wished to get wet. The menu consisted of hamburgers, hot dogs, salads, fruit bowls, pasta, and more. Most of this food was donated by the Knights Families, and Parishioners. Brothers and their wives helped out wherever needed this day. On Saturday there was an early start in setting up gas grills and tables, by noon the hot dogs, and hamburgers were coming off the grill. These items were supplemented by the potluck side dishes, salads and deserts. An estimated 100 people took advantage of the day to spend time with fellow parishioners, and family members and guests. The activities culminated with the 4:00 PM Teaching Mass at St. Gregory’s Church. No one left hungry, and all enjoyed the day very much.
