Parish Safety Committee Meeting

Project Description:

The St. Michael Parish Safety Committee has been established for several years, but had to take a mandated hiatus due to Covid-19. This was our first meeting in over two years. Among the many topics discussed were: (1) a review of those parishioners who are still interested in continuing to serve on the committee. (2) a review of critical incidents which have occurred during the past two years. (3) announcement of an upcoming training program, “Protecting Houses of Worship”, to be conducted in the near future. (4) plans to develop a telephone tree, to disseminate notices, and alerts to either the committee as a whole, or specific sites of worship within the Parish. The committee also acknowledged the pending departure of our Chair, Noreen Hare, and “elected” Gerry Madden as the new Chair.
