Project Description:

The Women’s Council contacted a Brother Knight to see if he would be interested in being the Auctioneer at this years annual auction and to bring a helper if needed. The brother Knight accepted the offer and asked another Brother Knight to assist in the good deed.
On Friday afternoon the two knights went to the church hall and viewed and learned about the merchandise to be auctioned, there were 120 items up for bid, place a silent auction table, plus a baked goods area.
On the day of the event the two brother Knights Emceed the event, auctioned off all the items, plus a about five other announced about five other things that had tickets sold for a chance to win merchandise, one of which was a 50/50 drawing that had $109.50 in winnings, Im happy to report that a Seminarian Matthew Valles won the pot of gold, and he was well pleased.
The event was a “HIT”, raising the most money ever for this event in many years of doing it, more than $4,500.00 in all.
A great event, many big Parish wide Smilies, so pleased to have been able to assist in another Ministry for our Church and Faith Community.
