Prayer Meeting for Jaxon

Project Description:

Brother Keith Forbes received a call from a deceased Brother’s widow her name is Ann Goody. Her husbands name was Ray. She called to ask for Prayers through Father McGivney for his Canonization and for her Great Nephew, Jaxon James Goody. Jaxon was born with Downs Syndrome, he also has holes in his heart value, which require surgery to correct. His procedure is planned for some time in February as he takes time to build his strength. Ann asked for the Knights Prayers on this, as he needs the Lords hands at work on this healing. Coordinating with our Faith Director a Zoom prayer meeting was scheduled and an invitation went out to council membership and to Jaxon’s family members to attend. The meeting was led by brother Knight Russ “Spike” Brimmer and hosted by Grand Knight Peter Starr. The Mcgiviney Miracle Baby was shown for the participants, the Father Mcgiviney canonization prayer was recited, passages from John 4, 43 to 54 and Matthew 4, 5 to 13 were read.
