Project Description:

One member of our council helped to light the spark to raise the funds for a new 3D ultrasound machine, purchased by the Open Arms Pregnancy Center in Augusta. Councils from all over the State contributed to the fundraising efforts; the local DD Keith Richardson was key to the coordination of all the monies. When all was said and done, a check for 17,250 was presented to the center, with this Brother present, matching funds of the same amount raised by the Knights of Columbus. That’s a lot of dinners, breakfasts, and baby bottle drives, all rolled into one beautiful ultrasound machine!
