At 7pm, June 7, 2018 members of Council 2219 Scholarship Committee attended the Westbrook High School’s Award
Presentation evening for the purpose of presenting scholarship certificates to several winners of this years Ernest O.
Porell Scholarships in front of their peers. The reason the Council presents these Scholarship Certificates at the event
is not only to recognize these students in front of their classmates but to increase the awareness of the presence of
the Knights of Columbus in the local community. This year seven scholarships were awarded of which four were won
by students from Westbrook High School.
