Project Description:

One of our Council Brother Knights along with three Boy Scouts participated in a presentation ceremony by our council brother during the Saturday June 2, 2018 four PM Mass at Sacred Heart Church. The purpose of the “Ad Altare Dei Award ( to the Altar of God) program is to help Catholic Youth of the Roman Rite develop a fully Christian way of life in the Faith Community. The “Ad Altare Dei” (AAD) is a program developed by the National Catholic Committee on Scouting (NCCS) for Boy Scouts of the Catholic faith. Its purpose is to foster the total personal and spiritual growth of each young person by encouraging him to actively live out his Catholic Christian faith. Those parishioners in attendance and the families of the scouts were very pleased and blessed to have been part of this ceremony.
