Proving Senior Transportation

Project Description:

I and a group of volunteers provide transportation to the elderly and handicapped citizens in the Greater Bridgton area. Transportation is provided for food shopping, travelling to the bank, barber shops and for other everyday errands. Notices are given to the volunteers by the Bridgton Community Center regarding a particular need with the volunteers replying regarding availability
The people that are served by myself and like volunteers provide a service for things that we take for granted but the people we serve cannot perform themselves. The people that I help are interesting and have life experiences that when shared make for great conversations.
Helping these people with everyday errands gives a great feeling of accomplishment and is a bit humbling and makes me give thanks for what I have
