Quarterly Meeting With Deacon Larry

Project Description:

As Grand Knight I like to meet with Deacon Larry quarterly, being our Chaplain, we touch base regularly to discuss his role and what he can add to our council meetings and events. Our business meetings can be all business and we can sometimes forget what brought us together and what we share in common. We agreed that Larry would bring a religious educational moment to our meetings especially during the Lenten season and at other gatherings he would be responsible for leading us in prayer to start our event. We also discussed upcoming events and events he felt might be of interest in the parish. He is working on a gift that the Knights could present to the parents of a child during baptism which is still under consideration.
