Council: 2219 - WESTBROOK

Project Description:

During Westbrook Council #2219 January Dinner we recognized two individuals for their kindness and service to the council. Both women go above and beyond to help at council functions and neither are married or related to a Brother Knight. The second individual is Judy Carlson, Judy is present at all Knights functions and always greets you with a smile and positive attitude adding to the experience. During the month of December she was extremely helpful with the Children’s Christmas Party from planning to the day of the event. She was instrumental in helping with the evening of decorating the hall and then the night of the wrapping party. Judy baked goodies for all to enjoy during the wrapping party which helped to make the evening festive and fun! She then joined Mary Hopkins from the office and the two ladies baked 100 Gingerbread Man Cookies and made a very attractive and fun decorating table to the children to then decorate their very own G-Man cookies during the party. When I said I needed an elf for the party she then surprised me by showing up dressed as an elf and helped with the entire party when Santa arrived! Judy is a wonderful addition to not only the Knights but Parish and we are truly blessed to have her.
