Project Description:

A Council 10019, sponsored blood drive, with the aid of the American Red Cross staff, was held at the Holy Family church hall on November 16th. A total of twenty seven life saving pints of blood was donated. Six Brother Knights helped with making this blood drive a great success. Their selfless volunteer effort combined, total was twenty eight hours. At the end of the day a Red Cross staff leader mentioned how well organized the donner recruiting, hall setup and logistics, made their job a dream experience that day. The blood collected today will serve recipients throughout the New England area. They want us to sponsor another drive in the near future, good work everyone!
