Relief Aid to Hurricane Ian
Relief Aid to Hurricane Ian
Council: 114 - BANGOR
Project Description:
Pine Cone Council 114 held its regular monthly meeting on October 4th, 2022 during the meeting it was decided that a 50/50 drawing would be held to benefit Hurricane Ian Relief Fund. This action was done in response to our Supreme Knight Patrick Kelly’s call for action: $124.00 was sent to the relief fund.
Dear Brother Knight
Hurricane Ian has roared across the Florida Peninsula, and while it may be weeks until we can truly assess its destructive impact, the need to respond is becoming quickly clear.
In recent days, both hurricanes Ian and Fiona have altered lives and battered communities. From Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic to the Eastern provinces of Canada, and now Florida and the southeast United States – disaster is widespread. Fiona has been referred to as one of the worst storms to hit the Canadian eastern provinces in modern history. Hurricane Ian is making history as one of the strongest storms to impact Florida and the southeast United States.
Our brother Knights, their families, and communities have been greatly impacted. At the same time, these very Knights have sprung into action, serving those around them.
As Knights of Columbus, we continually respond to the call of those in need – whether it be for persecuted Christians, for our brothers in Ukraine, or for the unborn child and their mother. Now must be no different. Please DONATE NOW to our Knights of Columbus Charities Disaster Relief Fund. 100% of your support will go directly to those impacted by natural disasters.
Please stand with me and make a gift today.
