Replacement of Windows at St. Louis Church

Replacement of Windows at St. Louis Church

05/04/2021

Council: 2851 - LIMESTONE

Project Description:

The church is close to 100 years old and the (30) windows in the North and South Sacristy, basement hall and adjoining CCD rooms and Food Pantry space needed to be replaced in order to lower the high electrical costs. About 100 parishioners have been donating money to help with the replacement of the windows. When enough is raised to complete a bank of windows, our local contractor is contacted to get the work done. About half of the windows were replaced just before Easter Sunday. About another 15 still need to be replaced. By doing this project, the monthly electric bills have been cut by over 75%. We look forward to the day when all windows will be replaced and the electric bill will continue to be lower.
