Project Description:

Myself and two council brothers participated and helped by supplying the meal for this weeks ALPHA Program at Saint Gregory’s Church Hall on June 12 and 13, 2018. Some two weeks ago our Grand Knight was approached by our Parish Evangelization Coordinator and asked if we would be interested in supporting her program by supplying a meal for the session in June. After some discussion it was decided to help with this worthy request. On June 12 our Grand Knight traveled to Gray and placed an order for Sub-Sandwiches which would be picked up on June 13. On June 13 our Deputy Grand Knight delivered the sandwiches to the Church Hall and also helped the coordinator to set-up the hall for the evening. The Alpha Film Series is emotive and epic in scale and scope. The film crew who put this program together have been all around the world, filming in Canada, UK, France, India, Hong Kong, Israel and New York. Alpha material is presented in a way that everyone can relate to it. Last evenings episode featured an inspiring story and interviews, as well as visual illustrations and motion graphics. I have enjoyed this program very much and look forward to attending the remaining programs.
