Project Description:

A member of our Knights Council heads the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) program in our parish and 2 other members participate in the program. We meet starting in early October instructing adults who wish to learn about the Catholic faith and answering their question. This year, we have five people who are in the program as catechumens or candidates. Those who make the decision to join the Catholic Church will be received into the Church during the Easter Vigil. As a member of the team, it is a great opportunity for those of us who may be lifelong Catholics to learn about our faith from someone who sees it from a fresh perspective. All team members would agree that they receive as much or more from the process than we put in. It is extremely fulfilling.
