Project Description:

On 5/2619 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church (225 S High St.) mass was celebrated by our diocese Bishop assisted by the Monsignor, our Parish Priest and Deacon. On this special day 16 children received the sacraments of First Communion/Confirmation.

The commitment of these children with the support of family, friends, fellow parishioners, clergy, religious educators have all contributed to their Catholic religious journey.

After the mass a reception was held for the children and their families. In addition to food and cake a gift bag was given to each including the book
“Daily Meditation with the Holy Spirit” which was donated by our council.

These children are the future of our Church and we hope our small token of appreciation of their efforts will help them along the path of righteousness.
