Project Description:

Nine Council Brothers gathered for a workshop at Holy Martyr’s Church on June 20, 2019 to discuss and review the six 2019 Scholarship Applications which were sent to our council youth director Brother Stephen Griffin. In reviewing this years applications it was once again a very big challenge. The team had a difficult time in choosing the winners, because of the quality and forethought that went into the essay’s this year. During the last 4 years our council has presented $2,500.00 to the Seminarian Program, $ 6,500 to the High School/Collage Students in our Parish, FOR A TOTAL OF $9,000.00. All Team members were in agreement that there are some talented young people stepping out in the world from our Parish Community. May the Good LORD continue to guide them in achieving their dreams of the future.
